Getting married in Istanbul? We plan your wedding transport around the city’s two airports and two continents: meeting your guests at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), taking them from their hotels to the venue and back, and driving the two of you to the ceremony in a decorated car with driver. Whether you celebrate on the European shore in Ortaköy, Bebek or Sarıyer, on the Asian side in Kadıköy, Üsküdar or Beykoz, or in Sultanahmet, we prepare a quotation tailored to your programme.
Guest transfers from both airports
| Area (airport) | Distance | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Sarıyer (IST) | 40 km | ~45 min |
| Bebek (IST) | 42 km | ~45 min |
| Ortaköy (IST) | 45 km | ~45 min |
| Sultanahmet (IST) | 50 km | ~45 min |
| Kadıköy (SAW) | 33 km | ~40 min |
| Üsküdar (SAW) | 35 km | ~45 min |
| Beykoz (SAW) | 49 km | ~50 min |
Times are approximate, without traffic; at peak times Istanbul traffic can double them.
- Two airports, one plan: separate arrival waves and vehicles depending on whether guests land at IST or SAW
- Personal welcome: guests are met at arrivals with a sign showing their name or your names as a couple
- Traffic buffers: hotel ↔ venue shuttles are planned around rush hours, with enough margin for the ceremony time
- Crossing the Bosphorus: if hotels and venue are on different sides, the bridge crossing is built into the schedule from the start, for both the outward run and the return
- Late-night returns: back to the hotels after the reception, in several runs if you wish
- Vehicles: VIP Mercedes Vito / VW Transporter for 1–6, Sprinter / Crafter for 7–13; midibuses and coaches on request for larger weddings
Bride and groom car with driver
For the two of you we provide a luxury Ultra VIP Maybach or a VIP Mercedes Vito with driver. Decoration — for example flowers and ribbons in your wedding colours — can be arranged on request and is included in the quotation we send you.
- From getting ready to “I do”: pick-up from your hotel or salon and drive to the ceremony
- Photo-shoot stops: along the Bosphorus shore, in the historic peninsula or wherever your photographer wants
- Realistic timing: we agree the route in advance and leave enough time between photo locations and the ceremony for city traffic
- Your driver waits: throughout the shoot and the ceremony, and takes you back to your hotel at the end of the night
The rest of the wedding week
- Welcome dinner or henna night: guests collected from their hotels and taken back afterwards
- Bosphorus cruise and sightseeing: group transfers to the pier, the historic peninsula or other sights
- The day after: returns to IST or SAW matched to each guest’s flight, with a traffic buffer

What to send us for a quotation
- Wedding date and any other events (welcome dinner, henna night)
- Venue and the hotel(s) where guests are staying — and which side of the Bosphorus
- Ceremony start and expected end time
- Number of guests, their flights and arrival airport (IST or SAW; an estimate is fine at first)
- Vehicle and decoration wishes for the bride and groom car
Vehicles
A Mercedes Vito or Volkswagen Transporter is planned for 1–6 passengers, a Mercedes Sprinter or Volkswagen Crafter for 7–13 passengers. Larger groups travel in several vehicles, or a midibus or coach is arranged on request.

Frequently asked questions
Our guests will land at both airports — is that a problem?
Not at all. We plan separate arrival waves for IST and SAW, so each guest is met at their own airport and taken to their hotel. Flights are monitored and pick-up times adjusted for delays.
Could Istanbul traffic make us late for the ceremony?
At peak times journeys can take twice as long, so we work backwards from the ceremony time with a generous buffer. Guests arriving a little early is always better than late.
Our hotel is on the European side and the venue on the Asian side — how do you plan that?
The Bosphorus crossing is part of the plan: outward and late-night return times are set around bridge traffic, and if needed we split the return into several runs.
Is the car decoration included?
Yes. Decoration is arranged on request and included in the quotation we send you — just tell us your colours and wishes in the form.
