The UN Climate Change Conference COP31 will take place at Antalya Expo Center from 9 to 20 November 2026. The World Leaders Summit is scheduled for 11 and 12 November. The conference will bring together government representatives, international organisations, climate experts, businesses, non-governmental organisations, academics and media professionals from around the world.
Transportation during an event of this scale should be planned around more than distance alone. Flight schedules, accreditation requirements, security checkpoints, temporary road restrictions, authorised vehicle areas and daily conference programmes may all affect the journey.
Private transfer from Antalya Airport to COP31
The official COP31 venue is Antalya Expo Center in Aksu. The announced address is Solak, Alanya Yolu, Serik Caddesi, Aksu, Antalya. Antalya Airport is also located within the wider Aksu area, making it the principal international arrival point for delegates attending the conference.
Although the airport and venue are in the same general part of Antalya, normal driving estimates may not apply during COP31. Security arrangements, controlled roads and designated drop-off zones may change journey times and vehicle access.
A private transfer provides a vehicle reserved exclusively for you or your registered group. Once the airport meeting and luggage procedures are complete, there is no need to wait for unrelated passengers or stop at several hotels.
The final drop-off location will be determined according to the traffic and security rules in effect on the day. Private vehicles should not be presented as having guaranteed access to the accredited Blue Zone or restricted conference perimeter.
Airport meet and greet
Passengers should provide their flight number when booking. Flight information allows the expected arrival to be monitored and helps the operations team respond to schedule changes.
After baggage collection, guests meet the driver at the agreed airport location. For delegations, the meeting arrangement may use the passenger’s name, organisation name or another method agreed before arrival.
When several participants arrive on the same flight, a VIP Van or VIP Minibus can be selected according to the number of people and luggage. If delegation members arrive on different flights, separate vehicles or a coordinated arrival schedule may be more practical.
Late-night and early-morning airport pickups can be planned in advance. A mobile telephone number that will be active in Türkiye should be included in the booking information.
Official COP31 shuttles and private transfers
Official information states that complimentary shuttles will operate between designated accommodation facilities and the conference venue. Shuttle stops are expected to serve hotels listed on the official COP31 accommodation platform.
Participants staying outside the official accommodation network may need to travel independently to the nearest shuttle stop. Private transportation may also be suitable for guests whose flights, meetings or evening events do not match the official shuttle timetable.
4 Seasons Transfer does not claim to replace or operate the official COP31 shuttle system. It provides an independent, pre-booked transportation option for individuals and groups.
Access to the conference perimeter, accredited zones and controlled vehicle areas remains subject to instructions from COP31 organisers, local authorities and security services.
Delegation and corporate transportation
Transportation can be coordinated for companies, public institutions, embassies, consulates, universities, non-governmental organisations and international delegations.
A complete programme may include:
- Airport reception for individual delegates
- Private transportation from the airport to a hotel
- Transfers from accommodation to an official shuttle point
- Transport to the closest authorised conference drop-off area
- Journeys to meetings and side events
- Evening reception transportation
- Transfers between hotels
- Departure transfers to Antalya Airport
- Multiple vehicles coordinated around different flights
For multi-day programmes, the delegation list, flight schedule, hotel addresses, meeting timetable and luggage requirements should be supplied in advance. Updates should be communicated whenever flight times or programme locations change.
Vans and minibuses
A Mercedes Vito or Volkswagen Transporter (1–6 passengers) suits individual participants, executives and small teams. Teams of 7–13 travel in a Mercedes Sprinter or Volkswagen Crafter.
VIP Vans provide additional space for small delegations, families and media teams. VIP Minibuses can transport larger groups arriving on the same flight or staying at the same hotel.
Vehicle selection must consider luggage and equipment as well as passenger numbers. Media crews carrying cameras, tripods, broadcast equipment and production cases should provide a full equipment summary before the vehicle is confirmed.
COP31 hotel transportation
Participants may stay in Antalya city centre, Lara, Kundu, Belek, Aksu and other nearby areas. The transportation plan will depend on the hotel’s location and whether it is included in the official COP31 accommodation and shuttle network.
Guests staying at an official hotel may still require a private airport pickup, transportation to an evening event or a vehicle for meetings outside the main conference programme.
Those staying in independent hotels, apartments, villas or private accommodation can arrange transportation to an official shuttle stop or another authorised location. The booking should be updated if the accommodation address changes.
World Leaders Summit transportation
More extensive security and traffic measures may be introduced during the World Leaders Summit on 11–12 November 2026. Movements by heads of state, ministers and senior delegations may result in temporary road closures, checkpoints and restricted vehicle corridors.
For this reason, an exact route or guaranteed driving time should not be promised. Vehicles will follow the official traffic instructions and use the access points permitted at the relevant time.
Participants should allow additional time before meetings, particularly during the World Leaders Summit and other high-level sessions.
A transparent approach to sustainability
COP31 focuses on climate action, so environmental claims regarding transportation must be accurate and verifiable. Terms such as “zero-emission transfer” or “carbon-neutral journey” should only be used when the assigned vehicle and service genuinely meet those conditions.
Operational planning may include matching vehicle capacity to the group size, coordinating passengers arriving together and reducing avoidable empty journeys. A larger group travelling together in a suitable vehicle may create a more efficient transport plan than several separately scheduled vehicles.
Specific vehicle technology and environmental characteristics should be confirmed during the reservation process.
