COP31 will be held from 9 to 20 November 2026 at Antalya Expo Center in Aksu. Complimentary shuttle services are planned between designated accommodation facilities and the conference venue. However, not every hotel, apartment, villa or private accommodation address will necessarily be included in the official network.

Guests staying outside the official accommodation system may require a transfer to the closest shuttle stop or private transportation to the nearest authorised conference drop-off area. Private transport can also support participants whose meetings and side events do not match the official shuttle timetable.

Transportation from Antalya hotels to COP31

Conference participants may stay in Aksu, Lara, Kundu, Belek, Antalya city centre, Konyaaltı and other areas. The journey depends on the accommodation location, traffic, road restrictions and the access arrangements in force around the venue.

Traffic may be heavier before morning sessions and after the conference programme finishes. More extensive restrictions may apply during the World Leaders Summit on 11–12 November.

Hotel pickup should therefore be planned around the conference start time, accreditation procedures, security checks and the walking distance from the permitted drop-off point. Ordinary navigation estimates may not provide sufficient time during a high-level international event.

Official hotels and complimentary shuttles

Official participant information states that complimentary shuttles will operate between designated accommodation facilities and the conference venue. Shuttle stops will be connected to hotels listed on the official COP31 accommodation platform.

Participants should confirm whether their hotel is currently included, where the closest stop is and which departure times apply. The hotel list and transportation map may be updated as operational planning develops.

4 Seasons Transfer does not operate the official COP31 shuttle network. Private transport may be useful when:

The accommodation is outside the official platform
The guest is staying in an apartment or private residence
The meeting time does not match the shuttle schedule
Transportation to a side event is required
Media or technical equipment must be carried
A team wishes to travel together
An evening return is needed
A connection to the nearest official stop is required

Transfer to an official shuttle stop

Participants staying outside the designated hotel network may need to reach the nearest shuttle stop independently. A private connection can be planned from the accommodation address to that stop.

Pickup should be scheduled with sufficient time before the official shuttle departure. Loading equipment, traffic conditions and locating the correct departure area should be considered.

If the official route or stop changes, the private pickup programme may also need to be adjusted. Passengers should monitor the official transportation map and communicate relevant changes.

Direct transfer and venue access

A private vehicle may travel from the hotel to the closest conference drop-off point authorised by the responsible authorities. Access to the Blue Zone entrance or the interior conference perimeter is not guaranteed.

A participant’s accreditation does not automatically provide access for a private transfer vehicle. Separate security and vehicle rules may apply.

Drivers follow the official road instructions in force on the day. When a road is closed or an access point is restricted, an alternative permitted route and drop-off area will be used.

Transfers from Lara, Kundu and Belek

Lara and Kundu are located relatively close to Antalya Airport and the Aksu conference area. However, the exact hotel position, coastal traffic and security measures may affect the journey.

Participants staying in Belek should plan a longer daily travel schedule. Morning pickup and evening return times can be arranged around the conference programme.

Guests staying in central Antalya, Muratpaşa or Konyaaltı may need to cross busy urban roads. Additional time is recommended during commuter periods and high-level summit days.

For this reason, the pickup recommendation should be based on the complete hotel address rather than a general district estimate.

Vans and minibuses

A Mercedes Vito or Volkswagen Transporter (1–6 passengers) suits individual participants, executives and small teams. Teams of 7–13 travel in a Mercedes Sprinter or Volkswagen Crafter.

VIP Vans provide additional room for groups, families and speakers carrying luggage or presentation materials. VIP Minibuses allow larger teams staying in the same hotel to travel together.

Vehicle capacity must take account of cameras, tripods, production cases, exhibition material and other technical equipment. The total equipment load should be declared before confirmation.

Daily hotel pickup and return

A recurring transportation plan can be created for the conference period. It may include a morning hotel pickup and evening return or a vehicle with an agreed waiting programme.

If a session finishes later than expected, the revised pickup time should be communicated as early as possible. The vehicle may have to wait at a designated location away from the immediate venue exit.

An active mobile number helps the passenger and driver locate one another during busy departure periods.

Side events and private meetings

COP31 participants may attend receptions, panels, corporate meetings and other events outside Antalya Expo Center.

If the passenger intends to travel from the conference to a side event rather than returning directly to the hotel, the additional destination should be included in the itinerary. Multiple stops and waiting time require a different plan from a standard one-way transfer.

Sharing the daily schedule in advance helps determine the appropriate vehicle and service period.
